Mississippi Lock and Dam No. 1 Bench Index, 2017

The Mississippi Lock and Dam No. 1 Bench Index is a record of the benches found at the lock and dam observation deck near Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis. The intaglio prints and hand-carved ceramic tiles depict cross sections from the plastic lumber used to create each bench slat.

Bench slats 0904, 1802, 1910, 2313, and 2905 have been selected for an expanded study found in the 3.5X scaled tile with accompanying print, and the five corresponding field kits.
